Welcome to the Interfraternity Council’s Fall 2023 Recruitment!

You will need to Venmo @UCLA-IFC $40 to complete the registration process (payment will be cross-referenced).

We are excited for you to take the first step of joining our community. After you sign up for rush, you will become a prospective new member (PNM), and will embark on your journey of finding your group of brothers. If a chapter believes you are a good fit for their fraternity, you will be extended a bid (a formal invitation to join a fraternity).

The official IFC rush period will be from September 25-29, Monday-Friday week 0 of fall quarter; rush hours will be 5pm-9pm. Fall Rush Rules and Regulations apply.

Monday, 9/25: Orientation & Meet the Greeks, Check in Begins at 3:30pm @ Palisades Ballroom in Carnesale Commons

Tuesday, 9/26: Rush Day 1 5pm-9pm, Alt. Orientation Session @ 4pm

Wednesday, 9/27: Rush Day 2, 5pm-9pm

Thursday, 9/28: Rush Day 3, 5pm-9pm (First Bid Day)

Friday, 9/29: Rush Day 4, 5pm-9pm

There will be an alternate orientation session at 4pm on Tuesday, September 26th for people observing Yom Kippur.

Rush Days 1 & 2 will be split into North and South Groups based on wristbands, either green or red. Check the photos below as a reference, the colors labeled are based on wristbands.

What if you are extended a bid?

You have three options when you receive a bid.

1) Accept the bid and become a new member of the fraternity.

2) Hold the bid and take more time to make your decision of whether or not to join a chapter.

3) Reject the bid.

You may not accept more than one bid. Doing so may disqualify you from recruitment.
